In 2020 as the Coronavirus pandemic butt f***ed the world's economy, safety & sensibility in equal amounts, as citizens were quarantined to their homes, hospital beds became scarce, half the United States were laid off, the gig economy was in shambles & misspelled posts about impending "Marshall Law" swept through Facebook like a biblical flood, Jake Palumbo schlepped it on the subway each day in latex gloves & Ghostbusters coveralls to clock in to his empty Brooklyn studio building to keep on keeping on. He continued to record, mix, & master for many elite emcees but naturally in a global pandemic business slowed enough to allow some time for creativity, & Mr. Palumbo went to the pile of wax he'd purchased but had no time to listen to, & cracked his aging knuckles atop the keyboard & began slapping paint on the canvas.

Coincidentally the quarantine of New York City ran concurrent with the 1 year anniversary of Jake Palumbo suffering a minor stroke, or Transient Ischemic Attack.

Transients are also a glossary term in audio & music production used to use to describe the initial first peak of a wave form. The attack, if you will. Correct shaping of your transients are important in both mixing and in shaping the chops of your samples.

Transients even occur in the very electricity you power your homes & your meth cooking stoves with, with lightning being the most common electrical transient we encounter. Jake Palumbo was struck by lighting at 8 months in utero.

Yes the beats on this album can still be made into songs if you reach out to Jake Palumbo & conduct business (don't just download them & rap on them pls & thx).

This is merely a time capsule of where he gravitated musically during the early stages of the f***ing apocalypse. A happy & successful man losing his f***ing mind.

And don't worry guys there aren't any trap beats on this one.
